CZECH REPUBLIC - PRAGUE
It is love at first sight for all when it comes to the “Hundred-spired Prague”. The large urban construction projects implemented in the 19th century have left the inner city intact to a considerable extent. By odd luck, the city almost entirely escaped the ravages of World War II, as well. Thanks to this, Prague’s large city core has preserved its fascinating medieval atmosphere up to this day, and the beautiful Prague Castle, Prazsky Hrad, is towering over the Vltava River in its original splendour. It is not by chance that the entire historical centre of Prague has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
